Iron Ore

The Yarrie project includes geology that extends from the BHP-owned Yarrie iron ore operation about 180km east of Port Hedland and 90km north-east of Marble Bar in the Pilbara.

BHP mined a number of deposits at Yarrie with grades to 66% Fe, and a maximum size of 15 million tonnes, from a total reserve of 30 million tonnes between 1993 to 2014.

The CZR tenements include areas of outcropping Nimingarra to east and south of the BHP tenure, and potential extensions under cover outlined by a strong magnetic response.

Future work will include drill follow-up of historical rock-chips and drill-holes with samples reporting greater than 50% Fe.
