Board and Management

Russell Clark

Non-Executive Chairman

Mr Clark has more than 45 years’ global experience in board, senior corporate, operational and project development roles. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Mineral Resources Engineering from the Royal School of Mines and a Graduate Diploma in Finance and Investment Analysis from the Securities Institute of Australia. Mr Clark is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).

Mr Clark’s previous positions include Managing Director of ASX-listed Grange Resources from 2008 to 2012. In this role, he oversaw the DFS and permitting for the Southdown magnetite project near Albany in Western Australia. He also completed the transaction that brought the Savage River magnetite project into Grange, making it the largest Australian magnetite producer, and in the process transformed Grange into a $1 billion company by market capitalisation. He is presently Chairman of Red 5 Limited and Pearl Gull Iron Limited and a Non-executive Director of ASX listed Tungsten Mining Limited.

Stefan Murphy

Managing Director

Mr Murphy brings extensive operational and financial expertise to CZR. Most recently, he led the development and commissioning of the Roper Bar iron ore mine in the Northern Territory. His experience in developing integrated mine-to-port logistics solutions and iron ore marketing will be invaluable to CZR as it implements its strategy to advance its Robe Mesa iron ore project in the Pilbara towards production.

Mr Murphy commenced his career in the Pilbara as a mine geologist with BHP iron ore and has spent the past 20 years working on mining and exploration projects throughout Australia. In addition to his technical roles, he holds an MBA and has worked in corporate finance roles in Australia and the UK, focused primarily on capital markets and M&A transactions in the resources sector.

Annie Guo

Non-Executive Director

Ms Annie Guo is a highly experienced resource sector senior executive with more than 20 years’ experience in mining and resources sector. After graduating from Macquarie University with Honours she was selected as a top performing graduate to join PricewaterhouseCoopers. During her 12 years at PwC, she held senior manager roles in transaction services, including Mergers and Acquisitions, with a focus on mining and resources sectors. Ms Guo was instrumental in facilitating many major cross-border transactions in Australian mining industry. After her career with PwC Ms Guo established her own investment platform, and during more than 8 years of mining investment through her private platform, she utilised her in-depth knowledge of mineral resources investments, mining project evaluation and transaction structuring, and invested in Australian and international mining and resource projects with more than $500m private equity funds.

Ms Guo’s investment platform has made multi-million dollar investments in a number of mining companies. Ms Guo has been working with industry experts during all her career and has gained substantial technical knowledge of geology, mineralisation and project development.

Ms Guo is an expert in mining project evaluation, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets in Australia and internationally, project development and corporate finance. Ms Guo is also an experienced public company executive director. Ms Guo currently is the Executive Chair of Zuleika Gold Limited, Non-executive Director of Azure Minerals and the Group General Manager of the Creasy Group.

Trevor O’Connor

Company Secretary/CFO

Mr O’Connor is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Company Secretary with over 25 years’ corporate experience. This includes more than 15 years’ experience in the mining and energy industries operating both in Australia and overseas. Mr O’Connor is currently the Company Secretary of ASX-listed Horizon Gold and was most recently CFO and Company Secretary of Exore Resources and Kasbah Resources.
